RICS Chartered Surveyors & Project Managers
It is essential construction projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with the original Project Brief and material specifications. However, this is not always the case and situations do arise where programme deadlines, on-site disputes, legislative requirements [and more] challenge the very outcome of a successful project. Many examples exist where projects do not reach their key objectives or performance targets due to a misunderstanding of the design intent, a lack of communication within the Project Team, a failure to identify risks, loss of direction and control [etc.], which are all issues that can lead to rising costs and unwanted outcomes.
Effective project management provides absolute clarity, creates clear guidelines and demands the highest levels of command and control. Strategic planning, allocation of available resources, critical-path analysis define the operational objectives of a project and create the guidelines that originate from the Client’s Brief.
TWC Consulting’s RICS qualified Chartered Surveyors, Project Managers and Programme Advisors ensure the Client’s Brief is fully understood from the very outset of a development, in order to deliver a continuous quality service. Using dedicated teams and Prince II methodology our RICS qualified Consultants become fully integrated members of the development team holding important responsibilities including; monitoring and reporting on project progress, quality management, risk analysis, cost control, health & safety issues, insurance cover(s), handover plans, lesson-learned workshops and other important functions from inception right through to Practical Completion.
